Q. Does it cost to register?

A. For a limited offer only, companies can register for free to the free package. Once this offer for registering for free has ended, companies who join will have to pay. Non business users join for free at all times. 

Q. Are there any hidden costs? When do you ask for my bank details?

A. There are no hidden costs. The only time DesiYell will ask you for your bank details is at a time of purchasing a package or advertisement.

Q. Are you the cheapest directory on the internet?

A. In comparison to directories we have viewed, we offer very competitive rates making us the cheapest directory to join.

Q. Will the prices change on DesiYell?

A. Prices will eventually change due to competitive rates. However, we still persist on staying the lowest priced directory. Users should take full advantage of offers before they end.

Q. Why have I been removed or blocked from using DesiYell?

A. The possibilities are: You have not been keeping to the terms and conditions of DesiYell and this has resulted in your account being removed from DesiYell or blocked for you to use.

Q. (Business user) Will I be notified when my contract comes to an end?

A. Yes you will. You will receive an email and/or letter before your contract runs out.

Q. (Business user) What will happen to my company information if I forget my contract is ended? 

A. We will not delete any of your information if you go past your expiry date. Your information will be temporarily disabled until you renew your information again. After renewal, all your information will be retrieved and displayed ion DesiYell again.

Q. How do I change my password?

A. Once you have logged in, in your control panel click on 'change my details or password'. If you have forgotten your password, when you try logging in, a page will appear giving you options to fill in your secret question and answer. Your password will then be sent to your email address.

Q. How do I post an item to sell on DesiYell?

A. First, you must register with DesiYell and once you have registered then you can place an advertisement from your home page when you log in. Options to post an item will appear in a control panel when you are logged in.

Q. Does it charge to post an item for sale?

A. It is free to post one item per week. If you want to post more than one item per week, you will be charged a very small amount.  

Q. How long does a posted item stay posted for?

A. Product expiry is one month. After that, your item will be taken off.
